A Costa Rica Vacation

Located just south of Mexico and north of South America, you will find a small group of countries.  Costa Rica borders Panama and Nicaragua to the north and south.  But the main reason people wish to visit the small country is the beaches. On the west you have the Pacific ocean, and on the east the Caribbean sea. This lush and beautiful country has several mountain ranges through-out it and is one of the top eco-frendly locations on earth.  25% of the Costa Rica is protected, and home to some of the most amazing plant life and wild life in the world.  With over 800 species of birds that have been identified and close to 2,000 plant species you may never want to leave and go back home from this vacation spot.

Boasting a wide diversity of eco-climates and settings, Costa Rica is attractive to travelers seeking beaches, tropical forests, active volcanoes, mountain settings, and a wide array of activities. Surfing, canopy zip-lining, hiking, birdwatching, and fishing are some of the most popular draws.  If you are looking to get away, and we mean get away, then you need to plan your next vacation to Costa Rica.

The rain-forest is one of the biggest places to explore in the world.  With the most unusual wildlife in the world, you can’t imagine what you might see here.  Day or night you can trek into the forest on an organized walk with a tour guide and see some amazing things.  Two of the national parks to visit while there are, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and Corcovado National Park.  Just remember to take a tour guide with you.  Many people from around the world have gone into the forest without a guide, don’t let this happen to you.

Fly on the many zip-lines through the forest to see the wild-life from above.  This is one of the biggest attractions in Costa Rica.  You will not want to miss seeing the forest form about, it is breath-taking.

There are some many more things to see and do in Costa Rica, this will not be your last trip there.  The beaches span over 1000 miles, the hot springs, and the white water rapids.  Take a trip up to see one of the five dormant volcanoes.  Ride on horse back, take a guided hike and you might be able to look over the the edge and see into the massive carter.  Along with the dormant volcanoes, there are a few that are still active as Costa Rica is set right on a fault line also know as the Pacific Ring of Fire.

Vacation at Lake Tahoe in the Summer

One of the number one winter vacation spots in the United States has got to be Lake Tahoe.  But did you know that they don’t close down just because their is no snow on the

ground, and why would they.  The lake, the forest and the wilderness all around you, this has got to be one of the best summer vacation spots in the USA.

If you need to get away this summer, and what to see the great outdoors, then you need to start packing your bags for Lake Tahoe.  With the crystal clear waters to the endless trails and the star filled nights, Wow it will take you breath away.  Take Tahoe is located just south to southwest of Reno Nevada.  To see a large map of the area just click here.

Now we can get into the awesome things that you can do when on vacation in Tahoe.  I don’t think you will be able to finish this list.

Celebrity Cruises has just set sail with its brand new ship, the Equinox.  An amazing ship to say the least.  With a top speed of 21.5 knots and a length of 1,033 feet you could have the time of your life on the vacation of your dreams.  The Equinox is the sister ship to the Celebrity Solstice which set out of port for the first time in 2008.

As I mentioned above the ship measures 1,033 feet and has a beam of 121 feet.  It draws about 27 feet and can hold close to 2850 passengers and crew.  It is very large and very beautiful inside and out.  With 19 decks onboard you will have your choice of where to bed.  But just remember that the higher you go the higher the price.  The 18th and the 19th floors are apartments with bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms and more.  Just like living in a high-rise at sea.  Large balconies and setting area which are private.

Equinox also offers 5 more classes of rooms for its passanagers.  You can look into getting a VIP room with a balcony, the large state rooms with and ocean view.  Their are also smaller state rooms with an ocean view and then you can get the large and smaller state rooms without the ocean view.  This might be the better deal as you might not be in your room too often after you find out what all there is to do on the ship.

Fitness center, jogging, spa’s, theatre, art gallery, and wait there is more…

You could consider going to one of the three pools that they have on board, and yes one of them is adults only.  Try your hand at the rock climbing wall, basketball courts, football and tennis too.  Send the kids to the arcade or just let them play mini golf after they are done with all of the other sports activities.  Just don’t be late for lunch. 

And when the night  time comes around and you have finished eating your dinner in the spectacular dinning room, you need to get ready for the after dinner party.  Get down and start the party at on of the dance clubs or lounges that the new Equinox ship has on board.  Thats right this ship has everything that you will ever need to have the best vacation of your life.  The only thing that is missing is,  YOU.

To understand South Beach in MiamiFlorida you just have to go there.  The white sandy beaches, the perfectly blue water, and the night life.  Everything that you can need to get away on the perfect vacation package.  One thing to remember when packing for South Beach, bring your swim suit, lots of high SPF sunscreen and your sunglasses because if you love the beach then you are coming to the right place.  Keep that sunscreen on heavy and allways drink lots of water.  The sun in Florida can and will eat you up and ruin the rest of your stay.  Be smart and keep the fun moving on forward. 

For the visitors that want to see the sights you too have come to the best place to do so.  The history you see in the buildings, and the island life-style can’t be beat.  When your in south beach you might not even need a rental car.  Their is about a 10 block area that has everything that you can want or need.  Resturants, shopping, public parks, and the arts.  Here are just a few of the best resturants that you will find in south beach:

Next we take a look at the night life.  Would you like to dance?  I thought you might.  Dance the night away in these great night clubs. Pearl Restaurant, Cameo, SET Miami, Red Light District Nightclub, and the list goes on.  You will not be able to see all the hot spots at night.  That means that you might have to come back and stay longer.  Just remember a few tips when out for the night in south beach (anywhere for that mater) stay with your friend or family.  You are on vacation and you don’t want to get into trouble in any way.  Be safe and allways know with whom you are with.  Don’t let anyone mess up your perfect vacation to south Miami.

With all the things you can do at Disney World in Florida, you could be here for a week, or even more.  And who would not want to spend a week in one of the funnest places in the world?  Theme parks, water parks, the sun, the beaches, and the night life can be some of the best around.  If you are 3 or 83 you will not forget the time you spent in the beautiful Orlando area on your vacation at Disney.
