This lush and beautiful country has several mountain ranges through-out it and is one of the top eco-frendly locations on earth. 25% of the Costa Rica is protected, and home to some of the most amazing plant life and wild life in the world. With over 800 species of birds that have been identified and close to 2,000 plant species you may never want to leave and go back home from this vacation spot.
Boasting a wide diversity of eco-climates and settings, Costa Rica is attractive to travelers seeking beaches, tropical forests, active volcanoes, mountain settings, and a wide array of activities. Surfing, canopy zip-lining, hiking, birdwatching, and fishing are some of the most popular draws. If you are looking to get away, and we mean get away, then you need to plan your next vacation to Costa Rica.
The rain-forest is one of the biggest places to explore in the world. With the most unusual wildlife in the world, you can’t imagine what you might see here. Day or night you can trek into the forest on an organized walk with a tour guide and see some amazing things. Two of the national parks to visit while there are, Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, and Corcovado National Park. Just remember to take a tour guide with you. Many people from around the world have gone into the forest without a guide, don’t let this happen to you.
Fly on the many zip-lines through the forest to see the wild-life from above. This is one of the biggest attractions in Costa Rica. You will not want to miss seeing the forest form about, it is breath-taking.

There are some many more things to see and do in Costa Rica, this will not be your last trip there. The beaches span over 1000 miles, the hot springs, and the white water rapids. Take a trip up to see one of the five dormant volcanoes. Ride on horse back, take a guided hike and you might be able to look over the the edge and see into the massive carter. Along with the dormant volcanoes, there are a few that are still active as Costa Rica is set right on a fault line also know as the Pacific Ring of Fire.
